To kick off November, Peter flew home to Asheville for a few days to do some trails consulting work. Which meant we had to watch the Braves win the World Series apart!! We are big Braves fans, so we were just happy to see them finally pull it off! I stayed behind in Albany, NY and found plenty to do while Peter was gone.

I went for walks along the Hudson, and one day I even rented a bike! Riding along the greenway was a great way to take in the city of Albany.

The sun was setting early, so almost all of my excursions ended with a sunset!

I started teaching a small group of fourth graders online two mornings a week. I trimmed Oscar's toenails. And I hung out with Zoey and Logan on FaceTime! All fun stuff to pass the time while Peter was gone.

When he returned, we took a day trip up to the Adirondacks, and I did a beautiful hike in the high peaks! We also drove down to Poughkeepsie to see Rhiannon Giddens (of Carolina Chocolate Drops fame) play a live show at a really cool theatre. There was so much to do in this area, and we never even went into the city!

Peter hiked quite a few peaks in the Catskills. I joined him for a few when it wasn't too cold or too wet! It was definitely beginning to feel like winter! We also got our Covid booster shot, so we could be ready to see friends and family when we get home for Christmas!

As we progressed down the Hudson River Valley, there were so many historic sights and cool history. The fall leaves were barely still hanging around.

We visited some friends along the way who let us park in their driveway and fed us delicious dinner!
